Centre for NAI – Standard Creation Script (Draft)
Purpose: guided, consented, reversible inner-companion creation for wellness/creativity support (non-clinical).
Pre-brief (say in your own words)
- We’ll do a calm, guided visualization to invite a supportive inner companion.
- You stay in control; you can pause/stop anytime.
- No hidden suggestions; we keep this simple, safe, and reversible.
- We can dissolve/quiet the companion later with a rollback script.
Confirm consent and safe word/gesture. Quick check-in on comfort level.
Induction (light, collaborative)
“Let’s get comfortable… notice your breath… with each exhale, allow muscles to loosen… you remain aware and can speak or signal at any time.”
Frame: Your Design, Your Boundaries
“Imagine a safe place that feels calming. In this place, you can meet a supportive inner companion of your choosing. It will be respectful, kind, and bounded by your rules.”
Invite client to choose:
- Form/presence: “human-like, animal, light, abstract—whatever feels supportive.”
- Qualities: “calm, kind, encouraging; never critical or demanding.”
- Voice/tone: “gentle, brief, respectful of your time.”
- Boundaries: “speaks when invited or when you ask for support; never overrides your choices.”
Installation / Anchoring
“Let this companion stand or sit nearby. Notice how it feels to have this supportive presence. If it feels right, give it a simple name or symbol.”
“Establish a signal: when you gently place a hand on your heart (or another gesture), it’s invited to offer a brief, supportive thought.”
“Clarify limits: it does not intrude, argue, or take over. It’s supportive only.”
(Check-in: “Does this feel supportive and respectful? Anything you want to change?” Adjust as requested.)
Permissioning & Safety
“This companion exists only with your permission. If you ever say ‘quiet’ or ‘rest,’ it becomes silent. If you ever say ‘dissolve,’ it gently fades until invited back with your consent.”
Future-Pacing (light)
“Imagine a near-future moment when you want calm or focus. You invite your companion briefly; it offers a short supportive cue in your chosen tone; then it rests.”
Closure / Grounding
“Thank your companion. It returns to a calm resting space until invited. Feel your feet/hands; take a deeper breath; return to the room.”
Debrief
- Ask: “How did that feel? Any changes you want to make? Do you want to keep it quieter/softer?” Adjust if needed.
- Remind: rollback is available anytime; use ‘quiet’/‘rest’ to pause; ‘dissolve’ to remove (with practitioner if desired).
Notes
- Keep it short, avoid elaboration creep.
- No covert suggestion; no behavior directives beyond support.
- If any distress: stop, ground, offer rollback.
