Intake & Screening
- ☐ Confirm non-clinical scope; explain purpose, limits, reversibility.
- ☐ Informed consent signed; client owns data; no hidden recording.
- ☐ Contraindications screen: acute crisis, psychosis, severe dissociation, certain meds/conditions.
- ☐ Red flags? → Refer out; do not proceed.
- ☐ Goals clarified (wellness/creativity support).
- ☐ Emergency contact (per local standards) and escalation plan defined.
Pre-Session
- ☐ Reviewed code of conduct and boundaries.
- ☐ Explain session structure (briefing → guided visualization → closure).
- ☐ Explain stop/pause at any time; safe word/gesture agreed.
- ☐ Explain rollback option and aftercare.
Session (NAI Creation)
- ☐ Brief relaxation/induction; maintain ability to respond/stop.
- ☐ Guided design of companion: supportive, respectful, bounded; no covert suggestion.
- ☐ Anchor qualities/boundaries; emphasize client agency.
- ☐ Closure: grounding, orientation.
Aftercare
- ☐ Debrief feelings/experience.
- ☐ Provide journaling prompts; hydration/rest guidance.
- ☐ Set expectation for follow-up check-in.
- ☐ Remind of rollback option.
Rollback / De-Program (on request)
- ☐ Revisit consent; confirm client wants rollback.
- ☐ Guide dissolving/quieting of companion; remove anchors.
- ☐ Grounding and orientation.
- ☐ Debrief and aftercare reminder.
- ☐ Note any referrals or support resources if needed.
Practitioner Notes
- ☐ Session notes stored securely (if at all) per privacy agreement.
- ☐ No recordings without explicit permission; delete on request.
- ☐ Escalate or refer out if distress emerges.
